We are often asked how we measure success - simply put, we measure success by lives touched and impacts made.

Byrna Technologies' mission is about making a positive impact on the world. Not only have they consistently contributed to our nonprofit in support of our community focused projects, but recently they went beyond when they shared some of their non-lethal technologies to ensure the safety of the residents and staff living in our human trafficking facilities damaged in hurricane Helene. Their commitment to making a positive difference, particularly by providing safety technologies for our human trafficking survivors, reflects a strong alignment between their actions and their mission. Thank you Byrna!

Power Up Energy, a leading solar energy provider, is committed to powering communities with sustainable and affordable solutions. As part of their strategic investment in the future, they have chosen to partner with the Blue Hope Performance Lab to enhance their leadership team. What makes this commitment particularly meaningful is that their investment not only strengthens the future of their company, but also supports the community-driven projects of Gratia Foundation, a division of BHPL. Blue Hope Performance Lab, a 501(c)(3), directs profits from their business management and leadership development services into projects that serve as catalysts for individual and organizational growth. Power Up Energy is dedicated to going above and beyond, ensuring their leadership development efforts also positively impact the communities they serve. Thank you Power Up!

Eterna is a global talent solutions company that helps leaders grow their business, from small teams to large enterprises. When the nonprofit Blue Hope Performance Lab, and its division Gratia Foundation needed to improve its digital presence, Eterna went beyond to support the development of their website and presence past the expectations of the BHPL team. They exceeded our expectations with great communications, overnight turns, and innovative ideas. As great, they embraced the importance of the work of Gratia Foundation’s community projects. Thank you Eterna!

VIKING CONSTRUCTION.png

Viking Construction, a Georgia based construction company primarily responsible for site preparation for commercial and residential building has exhibited what is means to go beyond. During the hurricane Helene tragedy in North Carolina, a project Gratia Foundation is closely involved with was damaged requiring much needed capital for immediate repairs, site work to repair the erosion damage from unprecedented water flow, and food (and other provisions) for the residents and staff stranded at the facility. Viking Construction didn’t hesitate when asked to support this emergency effort by providing the short-term capital needed to initiate the immediate needs of the project. Thank you Viking Construction!

  • As a nonprofit, BHPL is governed by a board, who has legal and financial fiduciary responsibility and manages its affairs with respect to program, policy, and implementation of our mission. In addition to the board, a small executive team manages and advises the organization in the affairs of the business and the obligations of a nonprofit organization.  The Board, and its members, are also a resource to guide and support the management team, especially the Executive Chair in the achievement of BHPL’s long-term goals as well as its short-term objectives.

At its most basic level, BHPL’s advisory board is constructed to serve as a sounding board for the Board of Directors and the Executive Chair.  At its best, this volunteer group provides expertise, advice / guidance, resources, and business-development insight. In all cases, the advisory board furnishes BHPL / GF with a group of experts who can evaluate opportunities, address any challenges, and are capable of contributing to the organization in many different ways.

  • Yes, we were formed in Georgia and under the provisions from the IRS, we have 501(c)(3) status.  Each donation will be provided a receipt with our EIN number and donation amount for tax records. If there is a need to have that information prior to that, please do not hesistate to contact us.

I highly recommend and appreciate the work of Gratia Foundation. Lockett Stewart and the team have been true partner to us - not just in terms of curriculum design, sustainability plans and character/leadership development but overall friendship. Through our most trying times Gratia has showed up for us. Very few people/organizations genuinely care, Gratia cares. They are unafraid to meet you in the trenches and do the work of serving others

Working with the Gratia Foundation has taken leadership from a two-dimensional to four-dimensional experience. Elevating the conversations and perspectives to include the human-centered perspectives needed for effective and long-term success in leadership has been invaluable to me personally and will yield fruit in our organization in time. I can not recommend enough the time spent going below the waterline to get to the why for greater purpose and ultimately greater impact.
