Vision

Our vision is to ignite purpose, transform lives, and reshape organizations and communities
through a commitment to advance the human potential by unlocking our clients’ own unique
purpose and health that creates a means for them to contribute meaningfully to the world.

Opportunities

"Most of us go to our graves with our music still inside us, un-played."

— Oliver Wendell Holmes

The underlying reason(s) ‘why you do the things you do’ is who you are and what makes you distinctive. At its core, it drives your identity and your direction in life and is critical to your performance whether you’re an entrepreneur, or the CEO of a Fortune 500 company, or a young person trying to improve their life, or a Veteran making his or her way home.  Understanding why you do the things you do and how you choose to accomplish them is your ‘brand’, it’s why you’re driven to achieve or quit, it’s the motivation and your self-alignment that makes you directed or lost. Although people may express their “why” in different ways in different contexts, it’s what everyone close to you recognizes as uniquely you and would miss most if you were gone.  And it’s the key to a full life, one with meaning and purpose that impacts others in the way you intended.

Living a full life is not guaranteed by education, or wealth, or neighborhood, or experiences that a person gathers in their life; rather, it comes from aligning personal direction, individual development, and technical competencies with personal convictions to generate a greater sense of motivation and garner performance to commit to their direction.

Our Ethos establishes our guiding principles / core values / behavioral drivers:

Empower your business with invaluable insights, data-driven solutions and personalized guidance

The Communities of People We Serve

Well intended help is often nonspecific and disorganized and unfortunately misses the intended mark, especially when dealing with complex problems. For BHPL / GF, we intentionally target specific groups where we can generate the best outcomes to resolve their specific needs.

Veterans

The military environment is mentally, emotionally, physically, and even socially challenging. Even those who thrived in their service can start to feel the mental load when they get back home, with conditions like PTS, depression, adjustment issues, social challenges, and anxiety being especially common. They may face health problems, employment issues and family struggles around the transition back to civilian life—immediately after service but also in the years to come.

First Responders

To learn how to live a healthy life ‘off duty’ while managing the daily exposure to life-or-death decisions during emergency conditions as well as the daily exposure to grotesque sights and smells associated with major trauma and victims. People in this community are exposed to both direct and indirect trauma repeatedly over the course of their service.

Vulnerable & ‘At Risk’ Youth & Young Adults

Living ‘at risk’ for an unfulfilling, perceived by them as meaningless, or misdirected life due to their current inability to change their situation or find a life that works for them.  This includes trying to mitigate the consequences of that ‘risk’ of which is felt individually, in families, and in the broader communities.

Human Trafficking Victims & Survivors

To locate, stop, extract people who have been forced into commercial sex acts or slavery through force, fraud, or coercion, and deliver them to safe havens where the victims can receive mental, physical & spiritual therapy and build a meaningful life with purpose and direction.

Organizational and Business Leadership

By partnering with the Blue Hope Performance Lab team, businesses not only benefit from high-impact, human-centered leadership programs and expert guidance . . .

  • To develop and implement human-centric leadership programs that optimize strategies to achieve personal and professional objectives all the while developing essential self-leadership capabilities that benefits the most senior leaders to the high potential and fast rising young leaders.

  • To develop unique solutions for leadership challenges that improve team dynamics, alignment, and performance (and includes a holistic approach to leadership growth and performance)

. . . they also contribute to a broader social mission of Gratia Foundation to support sustainable change in communities of people that are ‘at risk’ and vulnerable. We think choosing the Blue Hope Performance Lab is not only the smart thing but also the right thing.

Ideas

The following are the ideas driving the vision of this organization

01

To intentionally advocate for individual, organizational, and community change by establishing  an engine leveraging a network of partners and material support that together work in coordination to create an opportunity for the people of these communities and community partners to create new hope, to generate a greater sense of motivation, and to garner relevant and material performance capabilities (i.e., vocational, psychological & physiological skills, and individual means) that when aligned together, enable them to navigate the complexities of leadership (self or organizational) and life.

02

Additionally, to establish a fiduciary relationship who stands in a special relation of trust, confidence, and responsibility regarding certain obligations to those in need. This includes the duty to act primarily for another’s benefit with scrupulous good faith, candor, and care.

03

Further, for BHPL / GF to utilize multiple streams of financial support for our work via fee for services (provided by the consultants who staff BHPL) and donations to GF (and its projects). Fees where clients remunerate BHPL for our leadership development & business management services and all donations are contributed to the material support of clients and projects.
